5/13-21 Mayes Ave
Logan Central
Who is this workshop for? Young women ages 15 to 18.
Most people struggle talking about difficult topics. Telling someone for the first time about sexual abuse can be difficult. Knowing what to say or do can help survivors talk about their experience.
What is a ‘MEME’? A meme is an idea or behaviour that spreads from person to person within a culture to share a particular message. By creating you own meme, you can share and spread your message to others!
The purpose of the workshop is to identify messages that were helpful and supportive when talking about sexual assault. These messages will then be used to create a meme which you can decorate with your own artwork. You can either take it home or leave it at the centre for others to see.
RSVP/Booking by Tue 3rd of July.
